Film Photography

.

Through the lens of my eyes…

I have been taking film photos since 2009. From the onset of my photographic practice I specialised in film photography which I have been experimenting with and practicing ever since. This is also known as ‘analogue’ photography which is taking photos mostly on 35mm film with SLR (single-lens reflex) cameras. In 2013 I learnt how to develop black & white film photos and use the darkroom. Taking film photos has been an art form I am practising to this day. Over the years, I have worked with various Artists, Creatives and Musicians producing photography for their portfolios, marketing materials or personal projects; I took film photography for Don’t Panic Magazine and Marketing Agency between 2012-2013; I had an exhibition of my photos in 2017 and at present, I have focused my photographic practice at exploring nature and my relationship with it. This ongoing conversation and creative exchange fuels my other current creative practices and it also drives the notions of myself, the work I do, my deeper exploration of who I am, my mind, my soul, what are my needs and how I relate myself to life and my environment.
