Who am I?
My name is Michaela and I am your Coach at livingwell. Aside from that I am also a Creative and Artist. livingwell’s practice is to a certain extent interwoven with creativity, however not exclusively. For the life coaching purposes of livingwell, creativity is an added, and hopefully insightful, value for my clients.
As a coach I specialise in nervous system and trauma informed coaching practices which are informed by the years of my work with neurodivergent individuals, my past career engagements in the health care and leadership and in the creative industry. Over the years, I have worked as a Programme Coordinator, Mentor and Workshop Facilitator offering 1:1 mentoring services and educational group sessions to individuals, with focus on neurodiversity in the last few years. I also held posts with focus on organisational psychology and development, and supported organisations and professionals from the health care background with their leadership skills. Prior to this I supported NHS Patients & Staff attending academy programmes developing leadership in the NHS.
My career originated in the creative industry where I initially trained in events management and worked with international festivals and companies (theatre, dance, opera). I was involved in education within the arts through this work and worked with young children, youth and families. I have active creative and artistic practice and work with and produce sensory sensitive art informed by colour, textile materials and nature. I am also a Photographer specialising in film photography.
